GENERAL

With TrayPan, user can design metal faced sandwich panels made by Ruukki. These are mainly used in industrial and commercial buildings, warehouses and power plants as envelopes. Panels transmit wind loads to the supporting columns.

BASIS OF DESIGN

A panel structure can be designed as a single- or multi-span construction. The user can easily give, with a few parameters, both suction and pressure loads caused by the wind. The application also calculates the necessary fasteners.

DESIGN CODES

Panels are designed according to EN 14509: 2013.

LANGUAGES

The web application supports Finnish and English language. The language is chosen at registration and it can be changed anytime from the top bar. User interface and output report languages can be changed separately.

CALCULATION RESULTS

Calculation results can be previewed and printed to a pdf report. The user can select the data to be printed. The basic printout is in table text form. Additionally, the user can print various load quantity graphs.
